What Alyson Has to Say

Why do you work for Body Gears?

I enjoy working with like-minded PT’s who look at the body as a whole.

What aspect of movement do you find the most fascinating?

Even just a small restriction in a joint can affect the whole chain of motion.

Which patients are your favorite to work with?

I love working with patients who are open to learning a new way of thinking to better understand how their bodies move.

How do you stay active?

Working on my historic house takes up most of my time, but I also enjoy walking and hiking with my dogs, long bike rides and swimming. I enjoy trying a variety of exercises and I’m getting back into CrossFit which I started 10 years ago.  I’m obsessed with learning more and getting strong with Animal Flow®, an innovative fitness program that combines quadrupedal and ground-based movement with elements from various bodyweight-training disciplines.

Describe your perfect Saturday.

Out on an adventure with my dogs, going to the farmer’s market, and being outside whether it’s summer or winter.

“The physical therapy Alyson provides is unlike any other. You work with the whole body and listen to the whole person. You don’ just focus on the injured body part. Thank you so much for making me feel better and for teaching me how to prevent future injury to my back.

What Patients Have to Say About Alyson

“I have been seeing physical therapist Alyson Entwhistle for 6 months for two different conditions. The care/conditioning I received was exceptional and I feel that my physical health is even better than before the issues flared up in the first place. Alyson and the entire staff are very knowledgeable and thorough. Though I don’t wish anyone has to experience injury or pain, but, if you do, go to Body Gears and get it taken care of expertly!
