Alyson Entwhistle, PT, MSPT

After experiencing several sports injuries in high school, Alyson was inspired with how her athletic trainers and physical therapists were able to quickly return her to sports. Working as a student in the high school physical therapy center helped her understand how injuries affect people’s lives and mental health.

Alyson has practiced physical therapy in orthopedics in Chicago and the suburbs since 2002 and is passionate for helping people using unique and specialized skills and is consistently rejuvenated by the fascinating ways physical therapy has evolved since she started working with patients.

Alyson is a manually based therapist with extensive studies in several styles of treatment including functional manual therapy, integrated manual therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilization, movement disorders, and uses the Graston Technique.  She is also very interested in functionally based therapeutic exercise, CrossFit athletes and the study of movement and human performance for the athlete as well as the sitting worker.
