What Bo Has to Say

What sparked your interest in PT?

I wanted to take an alternative approach to helping people that works in conjunction with my background as a massage therapist. Physical Therapy has evolved to allow for multi-faceted approaches to treating all kinds of conditions and I wanted to be a part of that!

Tell me about your school experience.

My training was very much a hands-on experience which I have come to appreciate a lot. Not only is my school one of the higher ranked for PTA programs across the nation, but the expertise of the staff and their dedication to their students exceeded my expectations. Being able to continue working at Body Gears and go to school at the same time made my journey very manageable. I would definitely do this all over again if I could!

Why do you work for Body Gears?

Having worked as an Exercise Technician at Body Gears first, I saw the difference therapy made with the patients. I wanted to be able to contribute more to treatment sessions and came back to Body Gears after obtaining my Associate’s degree to work as a PTA. I enjoy seeing that every patient is treated one-on-one as an individual to come to a resolution!

How do you stay active?

Besides working out at the gym and taking strolls through nature, I dance on a regular basis! I created a cardio dance class that I teach three times a week. It not only keeps me in shape but it’s also fun and inspires my creativity for life in general!

Describe your perfect Saturday.

On Saturdays, I dance, make my vegan dishes, stroll out into nature, and see my family and friends!

What Patients Have to Say About Bo

“The hands-on, Manual Therapy treatment provided by the therapists at Body Gears is augmented by a highly trained exercise specialist (Bo), who takes care with explaining each follow-up exercise completely while ensuring good body mechanics.

The Body Gears staff is professional and technically excellent. I highly recommend the facility”

What Patients Have to Say About Bo

“I can tell that their focus is twofold. First, to identify the issue and eliminate the pain and then secondly, to build strength and stability in the weak areas to prevent the problem from recurring. I am so impressed by them and many of their support team too. Particularly Bo, who does everything to ensure that you understand the correct techniques for the exercises so that you get the most out of your efforts! Thanks, Body Gears for getting me functioning so much better!
