Dr. Kathleen Darley, PT, DPT, Women's Health Therapist - Clinic Manager

Kathleen received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine after graduating with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her training, she worked in a broad range of sub-specialties, from inpatient rehabilitation at the Research Institute of Chicago, dealing with the most difficult patient conditions, to treating New York City Broadway show performers and dancers backstage, relying primarily upon the Functional Manual Therapy™ approach to physical therapy.

Upon graduation, Kathleen was excited for the opportunity to learn and expand her knowledge of Functional Manual Therapy™ here in Chicago at Body Gears Physical Therapy. Working with our client population, she has the opportunity to continue working with athletes, performers, dancers, and others who can achieve higher levels of performance and better functioning in their everyday lives from corrected and improved movement patterns.

Kathleen is an accomplished ballet dancer, having performed over the past 15 years with regional and national companies, such as the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and as an independent artist. In her free time, she continues as an adjunct faculty member at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, teaching ballet and yoga and conducting dancer wellness classes.
