What Cody Has to Say

What aspect of movement do you find the most fascinating? Why?

Human bodies are masterful at adapting over time- so much so that it is often at our own detriment. It is why we can have poor movement mechanics and compensation patterns for years before we break down and start noticing the issue. I am fascinated by uncovering mechanical inefficiencies to get to the root of the problem.

Which patients are your favorite to work with?

I thrive on patients that come prepared–they have done their research, they know what does/doesn’t work for them, and have a lot of questions. No matter what a patient is in for, the more information I am provided, the better I can help.

What are your values and how did they influence your career?

I believe in the power of positivity, finding inspiration, and getting 1% better each day. I am blessed to be in a career where I can go along for the ride with people on their way to success.

Why do you work for BG?

Easy– Body Gears is committed to being best in class with patients at the center of our focus. We emphasize the individual and collaborate across the healthcare continuum to provide next level care.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I have four young children, which keeps me plenty busy these days. Being a dad is my greatest joy, but I have a lifelong passion for music, finance/investing, DIY projects, and personal development. I grew up working on our family farm and still enjoy being outside and working with my hands whenever I can.
