Cody earned his Bachelors of Science degree Kinesiology from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University. While specializing in General orthopedics, Chronic pain, sports medicine, pre/post operative care, he also finds uncovering mechanical inefficiencies to get to the root of the problem fascinating. No matter what a patient is in for, the more information Cody can provide, the better Cody can help.
Human bodies are masterful at adapting over time- so much so that it is often at our own detriment. It is why we can have poor movement mechanics and compensation patterns for years before we break down and start noticing the issue. I am fascinated by uncovering mechanical inefficiencies to get to the root of the problem.
I thrive on patients that come prepared–they have done their research, they know what does/doesn’t work for them, and have a lot of questions. No matter what a patient is in for, the more information I am provided, the better I can help.
I believe in the power of positivity, finding inspiration, and getting 1% better each day. I am blessed to be in a career where I can go along for the ride with people on their way to success.
Easy– Body Gears is committed to being best in class with patients at the center of our focus. We emphasize the individual and collaborate across the healthcare continuum to provide next level care.
I have four young children, which keeps me plenty busy these days. Being a dad is my greatest joy, but I have a lifelong passion for music, finance/investing, DIY projects, and personal development. I grew up working on our family farm and still enjoy being outside and working with my hands whenever I can.
